Hello all

This is to let you know that three members (Ralph, Dave and John)of the Plymouth club will coming to visit us on Wednesday 30th April, as they are keen to come and meet us for some friendly gaming. There is also the chance for a beer and a chat as well of course!

They have kindly offered to run some SAGA (all three of them are playing in our SAGA tournament at Legionary) introductory games for those of you that are interested and they are also interested in playing Bolt Action with us, whether that be in 28mm or 15mm.

If you are interested in playing SAGA or Bolt Action with the guys, please make reply to this post.

Cheers

The Sec

The 30th doesn't leave many players as it should be Way of the Wicked. I'm happy to put on a Bolt Action game.

There is no Way of the Wicked that week, as the weeks have changed due too a player request to do so.

Both John and Dave are equally interested in Bolt Action and Saga, but my main passion is with Saga. Depending on the response, they can get involved in either, but my intention was to bring along several warbands to introduce anyone interested to Saga. Saga is principally a game between two players, but there are some four player scenarios, so I could put on a game accommodating up to three Exmouth players, and Dave and John could play either set of rules.

The warbands I own are:
Anglo-Danes or Anglo-Saxons (can't do both as some of the figures are used in each)
Byzantines
Normans
Merovingian Franks
Scots or Irish (same as above - can't do both together)
Welsh
Vikings
I also have a small number of Pagan Rus, sufficient to make up a warband but limited in troop type and therefore not very versatile and likely to lose.

Saga is very easy to pick up - easy to learn, difficult to master. Most people I have introduced beat me straight away, ask Brett!

I'd like to be there but I'm the player that can't make it and has caused Brett to move his RPG. In the unlikely event Ed Byrne wins the lottery and doesn't turn up to the gig, I'll play Saga.
There's no cure for making us all play Dystopian Wars...

Ok, following a discussion at the club tonight, we have the following people that would like to join in the games with the Plymouth chaps:

SAGA - Bookmark, Francis, Trainset and Brett

Bolt Action 28mm or 15mm - Mick, Bradley, William and Redders

If there are any more, please post.
