Basically what it says on the tin. What do you guys think warfare will be like in 50 to 100 years or further? What should it be like to get the best wargaming experience?

Very long range with lots of missiles and drones, infantry and vehicles will only be used to occupy not take...

Drones and robots can be hacked; wireless comms can be intercepted and compromised. Not all sides in future wars will have equal access to drones and remote warfare toys. Always need boots in the ground.

If everyone is using hacking a lot things are going to get pretty strange. Edit: Like, for instance, forget about close air support at all, because if you can hack into a drones data line you can also mess up CAS. Squads of infantry would need to have a lot more independence because their communications can be hacked into and false orders given.

While there have already been incidents of battlefield hacking I think stuff like cheap, autonomous airborne jammers are more likely to be the way you combat drones. Ground level jammers won't work because you need to get the jammer between the drone and the satellite controlling it.

There's quite a few ways of overcoming a hack attack that should be mostly fool proof.

You could end up with a situation where you have infantry commanding drones a few hundred meters forward of them.

That's most likely. I don't think you can fight a war on autopilot.
