Hello all

James and I were briefly discussing club projects, campaigns and leagues that may be fun for 2015, as of course the Dystopian Wars league is happening this year.

So far, we have come with the following:

1. SAGA Campaign
2. Boxer Rebellion campaign using the club figures, Rob's Kung Fu gangs and the new In Her Majesty's Name supplement
3. Battle Fleet Gothic Campaign
4. Bolt Action Campaign

Does anybody else have any ideas they would like to put forward?

The sooner we agree on something (if anything of course), the sooner the planning can start to make it fun for all of us.

Cheers

Brett

Bolt Action or BFG, easy answer, although I will have to play BA a couple of times more to learn the rules

My thoughts are towards working through the Dystopian Wars Scenarios, these would be more applicable for weekend games. I have Operation Sirocco, Campaign Book 4, this covers operations within the Mediterranean, with 9 scenarios. Nations involved:

Grand Coalition Forces
Britannia
Federated States of America

Imperial Bond Forces
Republique of France
France
Prussia Empire
League of Italian States
Ottoman Empire

Neutral Forces
Covenant of Antarctica

Merchant Vessels are also used.

I believe the club also has another scenario book, covering operations in the Pacific.

I've been wondering about giving our WW1 aerial games more "depth".

Perhaps as simple as a blackboard with pilots' (players') names, plus columns for "kills" (enemy 'planes shot down) and "kites pranged" (own plane shot down, but pilot miraculously survives to fight again another Wednesday evening).
The results from any game system, Wings of Glory, Blue Max, Richtofen's War etc. appearing on the same blackboard.

Based on past performance (infamous Bolt Action 1940 BEF disaster recently), pity the poor blighters on the ground if my 'plane is doing an artillery spotter mission….
